Pest Specialist Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Pest Specialist to join our team at PestNow. As a Pest Specialist, you will be responsible for inspecting customers' premises, advising them on possible treatment options, and cleaning the environment from items that could draw pests to the area.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Inspect properties to identify potential pest invasion sites and determine the necessary treatment type to eliminate and prevent infestation.
  • Identify invading pests and provide effective solutions to customers.
  • Apply chemical solutions, powders, and granules on or near surfaces of a building or house to eliminate pests.
  • Ensure safety procedures are followed for application and reentry.
  • Utilize appropriate protective gear and equipment during application.
  • Set mechanical traps and place bait.
  • Keep service vehicles organized, professional, clean, and follow all regulations.
  • Maintain proper inventory of tools, equipment, and materials in company vehicles.
  • Participate fully in training opportunities provided to enhance knowledge and experience.
  • Respond cooperatively with requests for help from fellow members and management.
Requirements:
  • Strong communication skills and comfort in customer interactions.
  • Willingness to learn and undergo paid training.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, growth-oriented environment.
  • Full-time availability.
  • Must pass background and drug screening.
