About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Asphalt Quality Control Specialist to join our team at Allan Myers, Inc. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our asphalt products and ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement quality control procedures for asphalt production
  • Conduct daily quality control tests to ensure compliance with specifications
  • Coordinate with government agencies and other stakeholders to ensure compliance with regulations
  • Collaborate with the asphalt plant lab technician to ensure accurate mix testing
  • Perform other job-related duties as required or assigned
Requirements
  • VDOT Asphalt Concrete Field I & II certification
  • Strong understanding of quality control procedures and regulations
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
