Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the examination of patients with speech and language disorders, determining the etiology, history, and severity of specific disorders.
  • Develop and implement remedial programs to restore or improve the communicative ability of patients with physiogenic or psychogenic speech and language disorders.
  • Participate in team meetings, case conferences, and committees to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Develop and implement discharge plans in conjunction with patients, care partners, and other members of the care team.
  • Assist in the planning and administration of remedial programs, including the treatment of speech and language disorders such as aphasia, articulatory defects, cerebral palsy, cleft palate, cluttering, delayed speech, stuttering, and voice disorder.

Requirements:

  • A Master's Degree with a major in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited college with three-hundred hours of supervised clinical experience in speech-language pathology.
  • CPR certification.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.
