Job Overview:

The Bilingual Sales Associate plays a crucial role in supporting the sales team by providing essential administrative and marketing assistance. This position is tailored for individuals fluent in both English and Spanish, ensuring effective communication with a diverse clientele.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in gathering necessary documentation from loan applicants to facilitate a complete submission to the underwriting department.
  • Review and verify borrower documentation, including pay stubs, credit reports, bank statements, and W2s, ensuring compliance with underwriting standards.
  • Follow up with clients and vendors to confirm that all files are comprehensive and ready for processing.
  • Conduct preliminary reviews of loan files, ensuring they meet the required criteria for submission to underwriting.
  • Order necessary loan-related items, such as appraisals and condo questionnaires, as required.
  • Prepare and submit loan applications for underwriting consideration.
  • Provide clients with regular updates on their loan status and respond to inquiries throughout the process.
  • Coordinate with title companies, insurance providers, and other relevant parties to ensure timely closings.
  • Adhere to all industry regulations, requirements, and applicable state and federal laws.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support the team and enhance client satisfaction.

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Must possess a Mortgage Loan Originator license (NMLS) as mandated by state regulations.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to travel locally as needed and provide personal transportation.
  • Experience with Encompass Loan Origination Software is a plus, but not mandatory.
