Membership Director

We are seeking an experienced Membership Manager to join our team at Crunch Fitness - Morris Plains/Stanhope/Toms River.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in membership sales, customer service, and team leadership. As a Membership Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring our members receive exceptional service, achieving sales targets, and maintaining high-quality facilities.

• Sales/Revenue Management:
  • Achieve desired sales goals by motivating and managing the team.
  • Implement and support company programs and promotions to generate new sales leads and optimize membership growth.
  • Monitor and analyze sales data to inform business decisions.
• Personal Training/Revenue Management:
  • Lead, motivate, and manage the personal training department to achieve revenue and session production goals.
  • Integrate personal training products into point-of-sale presentations to maximize orientation sessions and package sales.
  • Ensure proper procedures are followed in session redemption.
• Operations:
  • Coordinate and work within club support functions to ensure seamless operations.
  • Support personnel-related problems or difficulties by following club procedure and documentation.
  • Resolve member complaints in an expeditious and tactful manner.
• Financial:
  • Exhibit an understanding of budgets and income statements.
  • Establish controls over expenses and purchasing of club supplies.
  • Demonstrate an ability to keep expenses at or below budget.
• Leadership/Motivation:
  • Serve as a role model for employees.
  • Communicate effectively through regular meetings with key club personnel.
  • Provide an inspirational environment that welcomes honest feedback from employees.
  Requirements and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 4 years of management experience required.
  • Fitness management experience preferred.
  • Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification required.
  Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience, plus benefits including health insurance, paid time off, and professional development opportunities.
