Position Summary

This role involves delivering licensed nursing services to residents, adhering to the standards set by Senior Lifestyle Corporation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administer medications to residents in accordance with Federal and State regulations as well as Senior Lifestyle Corporation policies.
  • Facilitate the admissions process for new residents, including all necessary assessments and documentation.
  • Develop and maintain acute and long-term care plans or service plans.
  • Oversee clinical system tracking (e.g., wounds or infection control) under the guidance of the director.
  • Offer general health consultations within the community.
  • Inform physicians and/or family members of any changes in a resident's health and ensure proper documentation is completed.
  • Respond promptly to all emergencies.
  • Maintain effective communication with all departments and staff members.
  • Conduct educational sessions for residents and staff.
  • Understand your role in the Safety & Disaster Plan.
  • Uphold the confidentiality of residents' and prospective residents' information.
  • Manage discharges, assessments, and clinical documentation as required.
Qualifications

Educational Background:
Completion of an accredited practical or vocational nursing program.

Field of Study:
General nursing.

Experience:
Minimum of 1 year in senior care or a related field.

Certifications:
Must possess a current Licensed Practical Nurse's License in the practicing state and be CPR Certified.

Language Proficiency:

Adequate proficiency in English to perform job duties, communicate effectively with supervisors and colleagues, and respond to emergency situations.


Technical Skills:
Basic computer literacy.

Skills and Abilities:
  • Ability to collaborate as part of a team and manage multiple tasks safely and efficiently.

Personal Attributes:
High resilience for working under pressure and managing critical situations with composure and professionalism.
