Assistant Professor in Landscape Architecture

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced individual to join our faculty as a tenure-track assistant professor in landscape architecture. The successful candidate will contribute to our mission of "Inspired work grounded in environmental and social good" through outstanding teaching, research, and creative practice.
Responsibilities- Teach two courses per semester, drawing on the instructor's strengths and interests, including design studios, landscape representation, landscape technologies, or landscape architectural history or theory.
- Contribute to the department's broad environmental and social interests, incorporating research into the classroom and working effectively with faculty, staff, and students from diverse backgrounds.
- Develop and maintain a developed, externally fundable research agenda, with connections to professional practice and current emerging trends in the profession.
The Department of Landscape Architecture resides in the Stuckeman School, which also houses the Departments of Architecture and Graphic Design. We offer professionally accredited BLA and MLA degrees, a post-professional MS in Landscape Architecture, an online MPS in Geodesign, and a landscape architecture research track under the PhD in Architecture.
Qualifications- A terminal degree in Landscape Architecture or a related discipline with at least one degree in landscape architecture.
- A record of scholarly and/or professional work that aligns with our mission.
- Demonstrated commitment to collaboration, diversity, and inclusion, and interdisciplinary cooperation.
- Evidence of success in teaching and equitable considerations, awareness, and practice with regard to curricula development and inclusive practices.
