We are seeking a skilled and experienced Cook to join our team at Gulf Coast Restaurant Group Inc. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality food to our guests.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and cook food to order, following established recipes and presentation standards.
- Ensure that all food is prepared and presented in a clean and safe environment, adhering to strict sanitation and health standards.
- Manage kitchen inventory and supplies, ordering and stocking as needed.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth service and efficient food preparation.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to company standards.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Prior restaurant experience preferred.
This position operates in a fast-paced kitchen environment, with frequent exposure to heat, steam, and noise. The ability to work in a team environment and maintain a high level of productivity in a fast-paced setting is essential.
Physical DemandsThis position requires frequent standing, walking, and lifting of up to 50 pounds. The ability to work in a physically demanding environment is essential.
