Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and tech-savvy Investigative Researcher to join our team at KENTECH Consulting Inc. As an Investigative Researcher, you will play a critical role in maintaining the high standards of our investigative processes and delivering top-quality results.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct impartial, fact-based pre-employment investigations to ensure the integrity of our background checks.
  • Review municipal government agency applications and identify important information to develop a comprehensive understanding of the candidate's background.
  • Identify missing information and discrepancies to develop a strategy for obtaining clear and concise information.
  • Conduct criminal checks and civil lawsuit checks through our public records access to ensure accuracy and thoroughness.
  • Prepare lists to organize the flow of background checks and ensure efficient processing.
  • Edit reports for grammar and content to ensure high-quality results.
  • Maintain consistent communication with every part of the team to ensure seamless collaboration.
  • Conduct heavy investigative research on the internet and through various phone contacts to gather relevant information.
Qualifications:
  • A college degree in a relevant field such as Criminal Justice, Pre-Law, Paralegal, Journalism, or Political Science.
  • At least 1 year of experience in an office environment.
  • Open to learning new processes and technologies.
  • Display tech-savvy skills with new technologies.
  • Must be able to pass security clearance to obtain a Permanent Employee Registration Card (PERC) or already have one.
  • Must be willing to take a drug test.
