Responsibilities:
  • Perform mechanical inspections on customer and rental equipment to identify potential issues and recommend repairs.
  • Complete job repairs in a timely and efficient manner, ensuring high-quality results and customer satisfaction.
  • Troubleshoot customer equipment problems and obtain approval from customers before making repairs.
  • Open and close work orders in a timely fashion, maintaining accurate records and documentation.
  • Keep accurate daily time sheets and maintain a clean and safe work area.
  • Perform miscellaneous tasks as requested by management, including ordering parts and maintaining company vehicles.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Two years of industry experience.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
  • Knowledge of various brands of material handling equipment.
  • Basic knowledge of principles and practices of inventory management and control.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with coworkers and customers.
  • Ability to work safely and effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Physical Demands:
  • Perform work in an environment with some exposure to industrial noise, fumes, and smoke.
  • Stand and/or walk for extended periods of time, up to a full 8-hour shift.
  • Regularly get in and out of a vehicle.
  • Regularly and repeatedly kneel, squat, bend, climb, and twist.
  • Use hands to regularly and repeatedly torque, ratchet, push, pull, brace, grab, knock, position, screw/unscrew, hoist, secure, snap into place, or other common repair hand applications.

Terms: Regularly – approximately once per hour or more, depending on the job. Frequently – approximately two or more times per shift, depending on the job. Occasionally – several times per week, depending on the job.
