Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Behavioral Health Technician to join our team on a Full-Time Night Shift basis. As a Behavioral Health Technician, you will play a vital role in providing direct patient care, supporting our patients in achieving their treatment goals, and contributing to a positive and therapeutic environment.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care under the supervision of the Registered Nurse, ensuring the safety and well-being of our patients.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Monitor patient progress, identifying areas for improvement and reporting changes to the Charge Nurse/RN.
- Support patients in their daily activities, including meals, grooming, ambulation, and toileting as needed.
- Facilitate educational and activity groups, promoting patient engagement and participation.
- Monitor vital signs, including heart rate and blood pressure, and report any concerns to the Charge Nurse/RN.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A High School Diploma or equivalent.
- One year of acute inpatient experience with psychiatric care, preferably.
