Pavement Superintendent

We are seeking a highly skilled Paving Superintendent to join our team at GPAC. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and completion of paving projects in the Richmond VA area.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement project plans, ensuring timely completion and budget adherence.
• Supervise and mentor field managers, ensuring they have the necessary resources and support to succeed.
• Coordinate with asphalt plants, trucking dispatchers, and MOT teams to ensure safety, profit, and scheduling compliance.
• Inspect construction work to ensure quality standards are met.
• Manage coordination with customers, field managers, and other superintendents for successful project plans.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; equivalent work experience considered.
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred.
• Minimum 6 years of milling and paving experience with at least 2 years of Superintendent experience.
• OSHA 30-hour certification required (or must certify/enroll in a course within 6 months of hire/promotion).
• Valid driver's license required.

What We Offer:

• Competitive pay range: $110k to $130k + Benefits (Health, Dental, Vision) + Company Truck and Fuel Card.
