Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Field Service Technician to join our team at Anistar Technologies. As a Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for providing top-notch service and support to our clients in the commercial environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Run service tickets for commercial environments, ensuring timely and efficient resolution of issues.
  • Pull and route CAT5 or CAT6 cable in new construction and existing structure commercial environments, adhering to industry standards.
  • Terminate data jacks and conduct site surveys of cabling, power, and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Install support structures, including ladders, racks, and j-hooks, to facilitate efficient cable management.
  • Pull, route, install, and terminate structured cabling infrastructure in commercial environments, meeting or exceeding client expectations.
  • Run daily reports to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
Requirements
  • Minimum 2+ years' experience installing and servicing voice and data or security systems in a commercial environment.
  • Ownership of basic telecom tools, including punch down, snips, wire strippers, cordless drill, hard hat, boots, and safety glasses.
  • Familiarity with BICSI, EIA, TIA, or NEC standards.
  • High character and integrity, with excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Open to travel work and comfortable with computer-based reporting.
