We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Nurse Extern to join our team at HCA Florida Oak Hill Hospital. As a Nurse Extern, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.
Key Responsibilities- Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and transferring, in accordance with the patient care/service plan.
- Document the delivery of quality care in the patient's clinical record.
- Implement patient care that is appropriately documented.
- Assist the nursing staff in providing patient care in accordance with the Nurse Extern's skills/training and the needs of the Department.
- Currently enrolled and in good standing in an accredited school of nursing.
- 1+ years of nursing school completed preferred.
- Current BLS Certification from the American Red Cross (HCA chosen provider) OR American Heart Association is required on all clinical nursing units.
- CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) training is required for Behavioral Health.
