Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Technician III to join our engineering team. This full-time position involves responding to guest repair requests and ensuring that all maintenance issues are resolved efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities
  • Address and manage guest repair requests with minimal supervision.

Technical Skills

The ideal candidate will demonstrate advanced abilities in reading blueprints and electrical schematics related to plumbing and HVAC systems. Proficiency in at least three of the following areas is required, along with above-average skills in three additional categories:

  • Air conditioning and refrigeration
  • Electrical systems
  • Mechanical systems
  • Plumbing
  • Pneumatic/electronic systems and controls
  • Carpentry and finishing skills
  • Kitchen equipment maintenance
  • Energy conservation
  • General building management

Repair and Maintenance

Safely execute complex repairs on physical property, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems, ensuring compliance with company standards and local/national codes. Responsibilities include:

  • Troubleshooting and repairing various equipment, including pumps, motors, and HVAC systems.
  • Utilizing the Lockout/Tagout system prior to maintenance work.
  • Performing advanced troubleshooting of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems.

Professional Conduct

Maintain a professional appearance and uphold confidentiality of proprietary information. Responsibilities include:

  • Adhering to safety and security policies.
  • Communicating effectively with guests and team members.
  • Supporting a positive work environment and fostering teamwork.

Qualifications

Applicants should possess a high school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent, along with vocational or technical training. A minimum of two years of experience in hotel engineering or maintenance is preferred. Required certifications include:

  • Valid Driver's License
  • Universal Chlorofluorocarbon (CFC) Certification
