Job Summary

The Queen's Medical Center is seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team as a CT Scanner Specialist. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for operating advanced CT scanners to produce high-quality images for patient diagnosis and treatment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate CT scanners to produce high-quality images for patient diagnosis and treatment
  • Position patients for optimal image capture and ensure patient comfort and safety
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient procedures and images
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest imaging technologies and techniques
Requirements
  • Current certification as a Radiologic Technologist in the state of Hawaii
  • One or more years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist in an acute care facility or radiologic special procedures
  • One or more years of experience as a CT Technologist in an acute care setting
  • Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology, as well as effective communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
Preferred Qualifications
  • Level I trauma center experience
  • Experience with Siemens CT scanners
