Knowledge and Skill Requirements:

  • Hands-on experience with Rockwell products, including ControlLogix, PLC5, SLC500, RS View, PanelView Plus, RS Biz Ware, and RS Batch.
  • Proficiency with other PLC platforms such as GE, Siemens, Mod icon, and diverse SCADA and HMI packages like i Fix and Wonderware.
  • Preferred experience in implementing meticulous control system electrical design packages.
  • Profound understanding of control system networks, encompassing Ethernet, ControlNet, Device Net, and more.
  • Strong collaboration, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication aptitude.
  • Background in instrumentation is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with Bio-pharmaceutical processes is a distinct advantage.
  • Prior exposure to GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and validation procedures is desirable.
  • Knowledge of S88 Batch standards and practical experience in implementing batch systems are valuable assets.

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • A bachelor's degree in chemical engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or related Engineering fields.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience, or an equivalent blend of education and experience.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting control systems, coupled with a firm grasp of process controls, is imperative.
  • Previous work experience in the validation of pharmaceutical and biotech systems.
  • Must be willing to work onsite and to commute to client sites located in Illinois.
