About the Role

Madera Community Hospital, a growing acute care facility in Central California, is seeking a Registered Nurse to join its team of dedicated medical professionals.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, educating patients and families on healthcare topics, and supervising subordinate unit staff.

A strong understanding of the nursing process, patient assessment, and nursing standards is essential for this role, as well as the ability to analyze data and make recommendations to physicians or other nursing staff.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and be able to prioritize tasks effectively. Experience with peripheral IVs and computer skills are also preferred.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver safe and effective patient care, prioritizing individual needs and preferences
  • Educate patients and families on healthcare topics, providing clear explanations and demonstrations
  • Supervise subordinate unit staff and make recommendations to physicians or other nursing staff as needed
  • Analyze data and determine the time, place, and sequence of healthcare actions
Requirements

To be considered for this role, applicants must hold a current State of California Board of Registered Nursing license and American Heart Association BCLS certification. ACLS and PALS (or ENPC) certifications are also required. TNCC certification is preferred.

Estimated Salary: $54,800 - $70,560 per year based on experience and qualifications.
