Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced CNC Programmer to join our dynamic team at Teksky. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for developing and writing CNC programs based on engineering drawings and specifications.

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years' experience with CNC operation and set up, as well as prior experience in a manufacturing facility or similar environment. Machinist experience and familiarity with assembly line processes and mechanical knowledge are highly desirable.

You will work closely with engineers and machinists to optimize production processes and maintain high levels of efficiency. Your strong mathematical skills and ability to lift up to 50 pounds will be essential in this role.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and write CNC programs based on engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine machining requirements.
  • Utilize CAD software to create and modify part designs as necessary.
  • Set up tooling and fixtures for CNC machines, ensuring proper alignment and calibration.
  • Operate CNC machines to fabricate parts according to specifications.
  • Conduct inspections using bore gauges, micrometers, and other measuring tools to ensure accuracy.
  • Apply GD&T principles to ensure compliance with design specifications.
  • Troubleshoot programming issues and make necessary adjustments to improve efficiency.
Qualifications
  • 3+ years' experience with CNC operation and set up.
  • Prior experience in a manufacturing facility or similar environment is preferred.
  • Machinist experience a plus.
  • Prior forklift operation experience beneficial.
  • Familiarity with assembly line processes and mechanical knowledge highly desirable.
  • Ability to operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently.
  • Experience in fabricating components or products a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team while being self-motivated.
  • Familiarity with precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers.
  • Proficiency in blueprint reading, mechanical knowledge, and manufacturing processes.
  • Strong mathematical skills for basic calculations and measurements.
