About the Role

Pacifica Senior Living Chino Hills is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver/Med Tech to join our team. As a Caregiver/Med Tech, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and support to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.

Responsibilities
  • Delivering High-Quality Care
    • Implement care and activities of daily living (ADLs) according to the resident service plan, ensuring the highest level of care and comfort.
    • Respond to resident needs, pendant calls, and other community alarms in a timely and effective manner.
  • Building Strong Relationships
    • Demonstrate empathy and develop caring rapport with residents, promoting independence and self-care.
    • Communicate effectively with residents, families, and colleagues to ensure seamless care and support.
  • Maintaining Accurate Records
    • Accurately and completely record care delivered, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
    • Conduct visual safety checks on assigned residents and communicate resident status with the next shift.
  • Reporting Incidents and Concerns
    • Complete incident reports accurately and timely, understanding policies pertaining to safety and infection control.
    • Recognize, respond to, and report concerns in resident environments to ensure safety and comfort.
Requirements
  • Experience and Qualifications
    • Proven experience as a Caregiver, with a minimum of 1-2 years of experience as a Med Tech (if interested in Med Tech position).
    • Valid CPR certification and ability to obtain if not already held.
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Speak, read, and understand the English language.
    • Committed to health and safety, with excellent communication and people skills.
    • Able to do housework and cooking, with a positive and compassionate attitude.
    • Physical stamina and high school diploma or equivalent.
Work Schedule

The Caregiver/Med Tech will work a variety of shifts, including:

  • 6:00 am- 2:00 pm
  • 2:00 pm- 10:00 pm
  • 10:00 pm- 6:00 am
