We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Mental Health Therapist to join our team. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing psychological services to our residents, including crisis intervention, individual psychotherapy, group therapy, and psychological evaluations.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide psychological services to residents in accordance with federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to meet the unique needs of each resident
  • Collaborate with the treatment team to ensure seamless care coordination and communication
  • Maintain accurate and timely treatment records and progress notes
  • Participate in discharge planning and implementation of resident care plans

Requirements:

  • Masters degree in Psychology or a related field
  • 3 years of experience in a hospital, skilled nursing facility, or other related medical facility
  • Licensed to practice in New York State or eligible for licensing
  • Ability to work independently and as part of an integrated team
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
