About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Audit Project Leader to join our Internal Audit Professional Practices Quality Assurance (QA) Team at BNY Mellon. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and effectiveness of our audit processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review and evaluate audit testing and reporting of financial, operational, compliance, and other processes to ensure alignment with applicable policies, methodologies, and standards.
  • Conduct IT audit engagements to assess the design and effectiveness of technology controls throughout business processes.
  • Utilize advanced data analytics, AI, and automation to drive audit efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with audit teams to identify and address significant concerns and emerging issues.
  • Take ownership of assigned projects and ensure timely and accurate completion within designated budget.
  • Communicate effectively with Internal Audit Management and teams, as well as interact with Senior Managers and other stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent) in Accounting, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 7-10 years of work experience in Auditing, IT Auditing, and/or Quality Assurance, with a strong background in Internal Audit.
  • Preferred: 10+ years of relevant experience, including proficiency in Internal Audit, and advanced certifications such as MBA, CPA, CFA, CIA, CISA, or CISSP.
