About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Architect to join our team at Avid Technology Professionals, LLC. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing advanced cloud-oriented architectures that provide new cybersecurity capabilities to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with our Chief Engineer to develop leading-edge cloud architectures that meet the needs of our clients
  • Collaborate with Agile Scrum teams to design and implement cloud-oriented cybersecurity capabilities
  • Interface with customers, stakeholders, and end-users to understand their requirements and develop solutions that meet their needs
Requirements
  • 10+ years of experience in cloud architecture and cybersecurity
  • 2+ years of experience with Google Cloud Platform
  • Strong knowledge of cloud technologies, including Google Cloud, Azure, and AWS
  • Proven leadership skills and experience successfully leading technical teams and projects
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Desired Skills
  • Experience with implementing and maintaining a Google Cloud environment
  • Familiarity with technologies such as Elk Stack, Ansible, Nessus, and Splunk
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies and DevOps/DevSecOps environments
Education

Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical field. Two years of related work experience may be substituted for each year of degree level education.
