Job Summary

ATC Largo is seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to provide one-on-one care to students with documented health issues in a public school setting. As a Private Duty Nurse, you will be responsible for monitoring students' health and providing primary care during the school day, including on the bus. This is a unique opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of students and their families.

Scope of Work

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing a range of services, including:

  • Urinary catheterizations
  • Suctioning and reinsertion of tracheotomy tube
  • Medication administration and management
  • Oxygen administration and ventilator care
  • Enteral feedings
  • Other treatments ordered by the physician or nurse practitioner

You will work closely with students' parents and guardians to ensure seamless care and communication. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a difference in the lives of students and their families.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • Completion of an accredited LPN program
  • Current and unencumbered LPN license in the state of practice
  • At least one year of experience in the last 3 years
  • Background screening and OIG, SAM, OFAC, and NSO screening
  • Current health provider CPR certification
  • Hepatitis B statement or declination
  • TB screening and TB baseline testing
  • Drug screening as required by contract
