Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Behavior Therapist to join our team. As a Behavior Therapist, you will work closely with our experienced team of Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) to provide high-quality ABA therapy to children with ASD.

Responsibilities
  • Implement Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) designed by our BCBAs to address specific behavioral goals and objectives for each client.
  • Provide one-on-one therapy to clients in various settings, such as homes, schools, clinics, or community settings.
  • Accurately collect and record data on client behaviors and responses during therapy sessions, ensuring data integrity and consistency.
  • Collaborate with our BCBAs to track and report client progress towards behavioral goals and make necessary adjustments to the intervention plan when required.
  • Utilize approved behavior reduction techniques and strategies as outlined in the BIP to address challenging behaviors.
  • Assist clients in acquiring and developing functional skills, communication abilities, and appropriate social behaviors.
  • Provide training and support to parents/caregivers on implementing behavior intervention techniques and strategies in the home environment.
  • Adhere to ethical guidelines and professional standards in behavior analysis while maintaining client confidentiality.
  • Complete required paperwork, progress reports, and session notes in a timely manner.
  • Maintain open communication with our BCBAs, parents/caregivers, and other team members involved in the client's treatment.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED required. Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field is a plus.
  • Reliable transportation, driver's license, insurance, and smartphone.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent time management and interpersonal skills.
  • A positive attitude and willingness to take direction from senior staff members.
