Psychiatrist/Outpatient Clinic/Independent Contractor

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Psychiatrist to join our team at Harmony United Psychiatric Care. As an independent contractor, you will have the flexibility to determine your working hours and provide high-quality psychiatric services to our patients.
Job Responsibilities
• Provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, diagnoses, and therapeutic interventions for patients with a variety of mental health conditions.
• Manage medications and provide brief psychotherapeutic interventions as needed.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, social workers, and other healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive care for our patients.
• Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions and therapeutic strategies to promote understanding and empowerment.
• Maintain accurate documentation of services rendered in compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Stay current with advancements in psychiatry through ongoing education and professional development.

Work Schedule
As an independent contractor, you will have the flexibility to determine your working hours. Our offices are open Monday through Thursday for in-person and telehealth appointments, and you will have the option to work via telemedicine on Fridays and Sundays. You may also choose to work 50% telemedicine from the start of your employment or transition to fully remote work as a collaborating physician.
Requirements
• Must be a MD (Doctor of Medicine) or DO (Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine).
• Must be a Board Eligible or Board-Certified Psychiatrist.
• Must have an active license in the State of Florida or be in the process of obtaining one.
• Candidates in their final year of residency are also welcome to apply.
