Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate Hone, centerless grinding machines, CNC lathes, and speed lathes to fulfill daily production and quality standards.
- Interpret blueprints, configure machines, adjust offsets within programs, and perform necessary tool offset modifications for machining specialty bearings.
- Conduct inspections of machined dimensions, including threads, inner and outer diameters, lengths, widths, and undercuts/grooves.
- Promote and adhere to safe working practices.
- Follow company quality control protocols, including in-process inspections and documentation.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings accurately.
- Communicate effectively in both written and oral forms in English.
- Collaborate and make informed decisions within a team environment.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in a manufacturing setting.
- Experience with Trim/Deburr operations is preferred.
- Familiarity with operating CNC Lathes is preferred.
Education:
- High School Diploma or GED is required.
Skills and Certifications:
- Formal training in CNC operations is desirable.
- A quick learner with the ability to adapt.
Physical and Environmental Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds unaided.
- Must wear protective footwear with metatarsal guards and safety glasses while on the job.
This position is subject to compliance with the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and the Export Administration Regulations (EAR), necessitating that the incumbent be a US citizen, lawful permanent resident, or possess refugee or asylee status.
**Salary information is applicable for California only. The pay range reflects the expected low and high end of the salary range for this position at the time of posting, based on various factors including geographic location, experience, education, skills, qualifications, performance, and organizational needs.
Pay Range: $18 to $22/hour.
