Job Overview

Carson Flooring Specialists, L is looking for a dedicated and dependable construction laborer to become part of our expanding team. The ideal candidate should be self-driven and capable of adhering to instructions. Reliable transportation is a must, and the role involves some physical lifting.

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8 AM to 4 PM, with no weekend shifts.

Position Availability: Both part-time and full-time roles are open.

Key Responsibilities

The construction laborer will be tasked with the following duties:

  • Unload tools and prepare materials for the building site, ensuring everything is organized and ready for use.
  • Utilize various construction and maintenance tools to accomplish daily objectives.
  • Adhere to all health and safety guidelines while operating machinery.
  • Wear appropriate safety gear, including head protection, earplugs, gloves, and safety glasses.
  • Complete all assigned tasks efficiently and within the designated time frame.
  • Maintain a clean work environment by removing debris and ensuring tools are stored properly.
Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates should meet the following criteria:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent educational background; vocational training or apprenticeships are advantageous.
  • Experience in construction is preferred.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Ability to stand, bend, squat, and lift weights up to 40 pounds.
  • A positive attitude and strong work ethic are essential.
  • Capability to work independently or collaboratively as part of a team.
