About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Industrial Maintenance Technician to join our team at Flowers Foods. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for performing scheduled and unscheduled maintenance and installation tasks on our physical plant, equipment, and machinery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform assigned preventive maintenance tasks to ensure optimal equipment performance and minimize downtime.
  • Conduct scheduled maintenance on plant equipment and machinery to prevent breakdowns and ensure smooth operations.
  • Respond to and correct equipment stoppages and mechanical breakdowns, troubleshooting and repairing or replacing worn or defective parts as needed.
  • Operate machine shop equipment and fabricate required parts when necessary.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety protocols and procedures.
  • Perform other duties as directed by management, including adherence to attendance policies and operating rules.
Requirements
  • One or more years of experience as a Production Operator or Technician, or formal training or experience in a related field.
  • Desired experience in Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning; Welding, Electronics, Electrical repairs, Industrial Equipment installations, alignment, start-up repairs, etc.
  • Associate Degree in Electronics/Electrical Technology and/or equivalent formal training and work experience.
