Marina Yard Worker

We are seeking a skilled Marina Yard Worker to join our team at Birdon America, Inc. in Portland, CT. As a key member of our marina facilities team, you will be responsible for performing general yard and heavy equipment duties under the supervision of the Yard Marina Facilities Manager.
Main Responsibilities- Perform routine maintenance and operation of the boat launch ramp, lift well, docks, and managed lands and facilities, including mowing, trimming, snow removal, and litter pickup.
- Assist in the haul, power wash, block, and launch of power and sail boats during all seasons.
- Operate boat-moving, construction equipment, forklifts, brush cutters, and tractors, and drive medium-duty vehicles with trailers.
- Conduct individual or group lifting of equipment and tools weighing up to and above 50lbs.
- Perform other related duties as necessary and assigned by Marina Management.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- 18 years old or older.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Current Driver's License.
- Basic mechanical hand tools and outerwear for all types of weather conditions.
- Ability to swim/tread water.
