Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Manufacturing Electrician to join our team at our tapered roller bearing plant in Iron Station, NC. As a key member of our world-leading manufacturing team, you will be responsible for performing electrical and electronic work, including inspections, repairs, installations, and maintenance of equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform electrical and electronic work, including inspections, repairs, installations, and maintenance of equipment.
- Follow all safety rules and regulations.
- Responsible for quality and quantity of work in assigned area.
- Receives wiring diagrams, blueprints, specifications, and instructions from supervisor.
- Inspects, repairs, installs, and maintains all electrical, electronic, and logic equipment.
- Dismantles, inspects, repairs, adjusts, or replaces faulty parts and wiring.
- Reassembles, tests, and adjusts equipment for safe and proper orientation.
- Repairs and adjusts precision instruments and gauges to required tolerances.
- Performs miscellaneous duties such as periodic inspection, servicing, cleaning, and adjusting automatic controls.
Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED required.
- Must be eligible to work in the U.S.
- 3-5 years of work experience as an Electrician/Technician in a manufacturing environment preferred.
- Basic mathematical and mechanical skills are required.
- Strong attention to detail along with ability to multi-task.
- Proven record of reliable attendance, strong work ethic, and team skills.
- 2 years of work experience in a manufacturing environment or related education preferred.
- Ability to lift, push, and/or pull up to 35 pounds or more.
