About the Role

Aveanna Healthcare is seeking a skilled and compassionate Private Duty Nurse to join our team in Temple, Texas. As a Private Duty Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing one-on-one care to patients in their homes, promoting their health and well-being.

The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for delivering exceptional patient care, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement physicians' prescribed plans of care, conducting thorough assessments and coordinating with healthcare teams as needed.
  • Administer medications, treatments, and therapies as ordered, ensuring timely and accurate documentation in our electronic system.
  • Promote health education and training for family members, empowering them to take an active role in their loved ones' care.
  • Maintain accurate and compliant records, adhering to all regulatory requirements.
Requirements
  • Active, unencumbered RN/LPN/LVN license in the state of practice.
  • Current CPR certification from American Red Cross or American Heart Association.
  • TB skin test within the last 12 months.
  • Six months prior hands-on nursing experience preferred but not required.
