We are seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist-Registered to join our team at Intermountain Healthcare. As a key member of our medical imaging team, you will be responsible for performing high-quality diagnostic imaging examinations under the direction of a physician.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure proper patient identification, order verification, and prepare patients for exams.
- Provide exceptional patient care and communication throughout the procedure.
- Explain procedures to patients and families to facilitate cooperation and alleviate anxiety.
- Perform radiologic exams that produce quality images and ensure patient and staff safety.
- Utilize sterile technique when performing invasive procedures.
- Recognize emergent patient situations and respond quickly and appropriately.
- Complete all required documentation, including time stamps and image storage.
- Coordinate patient care and communicate with other patient care providers.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment for patients and staff.
- ARRT registration.
- Current Rad Tech license in state of practice (if working in Utah).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for healthcare providers.
- IV Certification.
- May be required to complete the Medical Assistant (MA) Competency Checklist within 90 days of hire and perform the function of an MA.
- Carrying, Hearing/Listening, Lifting, Manual Dexterity, Pushing/Pulling, Seeing, Speaking, Standing, Walking.
