Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist-Registered to join our team at Intermountain Healthcare. As a key member of our medical imaging team, you will be responsible for performing high-quality diagnostic imaging examinations under the direction of a physician.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure proper patient identification, order verification, and prepare patients for exams.
  • Provide exceptional patient care and communication throughout the procedure.
  • Explain procedures to patients and families to facilitate cooperation and alleviate anxiety.
  • Perform radiologic exams that produce quality images and ensure patient and staff safety.
  • Utilize sterile technique when performing invasive procedures.
  • Recognize emergent patient situations and respond quickly and appropriately.
  • Complete all required documentation, including time stamps and image storage.
  • Coordinate patient care and communicate with other patient care providers.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment for patients and staff.
Requirements
  • ARRT registration.
  • Current Rad Tech license in state of practice (if working in Utah).
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for healthcare providers.
Preferred Qualifications
  • IV Certification.
  • May be required to complete the Medical Assistant (MA) Competency Checklist within 90 days of hire and perform the function of an MA.
Physical Requirements
  • Carrying, Hearing/Listening, Lifting, Manual Dexterity, Pushing/Pulling, Seeing, Speaking, Standing, Walking.
