Healthcare Operations Manager

Numerous hospitals and healthcare facilities in Southeast Alaska are seeking a highly skilled Nurse Manager to oversee the daily operations of our nursing departments. Responsibilities
The successful candidate will have extensive experience in healthcare leadership, with a strong background in nursing practice and management. Key responsibilities will include:
- Financial Management: Developing and managing departmental budgets, analyzing financial reports, and identifying areas for cost savings.
- Clinical Operations: Overseeing the day-to-day operations of nursing departments, including staffing, scheduling, and performance evaluations.
- Patient Care: Ensuring that patients receive high-quality, compassionate care, with a focus on meeting individual needs and preferences.
- Leadership and Development: Providing guidance and support to staff members, facilitating training and education programs, and promoting a positive work environment.
- Regulatory Compliance: Maintaining knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and accreditation standards, ensuring that our facilities and services meet or exceed these requirements.
Requirements
To be considered for this exciting opportunity, candidates must possess a bachelor's degree in nursing and a current, unrestricted Registered Nursing license in Alaska. A minimum of 5 years' professional nursing experience is required, with at least 2 years in a leadership role. Additional certifications, such as BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP, are also preferred. Strong analytical and communication skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, are essential for success in this position.
Compensation and Benefits
The salary range for this position is $50,000 - $70,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
