Role Summary:

The mainline assembler is responsible for inspecting components, assembling, painting, testing, packaging, and transporting fan clutches and subassemblies to the finished goods area.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Assembly Tasks:
    Assemble fan clutch units using new components, ensuring a sufficient quantity of parts is collected for assembly to meet production targets.
  2. Painting:
    Prepare units and parts for painting, applying a uniform coat of protective paint using standard industrial spray equipment.
  3. Packaging:
    Package and prepare units for shipment, ensuring all identifying labels and serial numbers are attached, and record finished goods information accurately.
  4. Subassembly Assembly:
    Assemble subassemblies to be included with finished units, disassembling any units that do not meet quality standards.
  5. Quality Control:
    Conduct quality checks on assembled units, utilizing inspection equipment and visual assessments.
  6. Training:
    Provide guidance and training in work methods and procedures to new employees and temporary workers.
  7. Additional Duties:
    Perform other responsibilities as assigned by the area manager or lead person.
Qualifications:

To be considered for this role, a high school diploma or equivalent (GED) is preferred but not mandatory. Previous experience in a manufacturing setting is advantageous.
