Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team at Luminis Health. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will be responsible for providing respiratory therapy modalities to patients according to department standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer medical gas therapy in accordance with department procedures.
  • Operate and maintain equipment in a safe and sanitary condition, following department guidelines.
  • Observe patients during therapies for adverse reactions and act in accordance with department policy when problems arise.
  • Document care provided accurately and consistently in a timely manner according to department standards.
  • Evaluate appropriateness and effectiveness of therapies for continuation or discontinuation according to department standards.
Requirements
  • Associate's Degree from an accredited college.
  • Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support CPR certification for Healthcare Providers required.
  • Certified Respiratory Therapist as credentialed by the National Board for Respiratory Care.
  • State of Maryland License or eligibility as a Respiratory Care Practitioner.
