Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Nurse to join our team at Oklahoma Dental Implants & Oral Surgery. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a surgical setting.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough patient interviews to obtain accurate health histories.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including oral reports.
  • Contribute to the attainment of unit goals by utilizing effective communication and community relationships.
  • Prepare, administer, and record medications as prescribed.
  • Monitor patients' vital signs and report any abnormalities.
  • Prepare and maintain clinical equipment and supplies.
  • Assist in patient recovery and discharge.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
  • Current state license as a Registered Nurse.
  • BLS certification required.
  • ACLS certification preferred or ability to obtain within 6 months.
  • At least two years of experience in a surgical setting preferred.
Skills and Abilities
  • Ability to observe patients' physical condition and detect signs of abnormalities.
  • Ability to record operations accurately, legibly, and concisely.
  • Effective communication skills, both in person and over the phone.
  • Ability to exercise tact, initiative, and good judgment.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize work effectively.
  • Experience with intravenous medications.
