Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze project specifications, drawings, and technical documents to understand project requirements and scope.
  • Identify project risks and collaborate with the project team to determine mitigation strategies.
  • Prepare RFIs for review by Senior Estimators and submission to owners for clarification.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and procurement teams to gather necessary information for cost estimation.
  • Utilize industry-standard estimating software and tools to develop detailed cost estimates.
  • Research and evaluate vendors, subcontractors, and suppliers to obtain competitive pricing for project components.
  • Participate in bid review meetings and assist in the preparation of bid proposals.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in construction estimating, preferably in the renewable energy sector or related industry.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and industry-standard estimating software.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and collaborate effectively in a team environment.
  • Able to work closely with senior estimators and display a willingness to learn from their feedback.
