Key Responsibilities:- Analyze project specifications, drawings, and technical documents to understand project requirements and scope.
- Identify project risks and collaborate with the project team to determine mitigation strategies.
- Prepare RFIs for review by Senior Estimators and submission to owners for clarification.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and procurement teams to gather necessary information for cost estimation.
- Utilize industry-standard estimating software and tools to develop detailed cost estimates.
- Research and evaluate vendors, subcontractors, and suppliers to obtain competitive pricing for project components.
- Participate in bid review meetings and assist in the preparation of bid proposals.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in construction estimating, preferably in the renewable energy sector or related industry.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and industry-standard estimating software.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and collaborate effectively in a team environment.
- Able to work closely with senior estimators and display a willingness to learn from their feedback.
- Competitive salary: $77,400 - $101,600 per year.
