About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Behavior Therapist to join our team at Blue Balloon ABA. As a Behavior Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing intensive one-on-one therapy to children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement behavior acquisition and behavior reduction plans to help children with ASD reach their full potential.
  • Conduct stimulus preference assessments to identify effective teaching strategies.
  • Collect data to demonstrate client progress and inform treatment decisions.
  • Collaborate with our multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
  • Provide basic care to clients, including toileting and eating assistance.
  • Discuss client progress with parents and caregivers to ensure seamless communication.
  • Maintain respect and confidentiality for all clients.
  • Stay up-to-date with continuing education to ensure technical and professional knowledge.
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience working with children, preferably in an ABA setting.
  • Reliability and ability to work a consistent schedule.
  • Access to a reliable vehicle or public transportation.
  • Ability to lift, push, pull up to 40 pounds and stand for at least 75% of the day.
