Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Radiology Data Management Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, managing radiology data, and working collaboratively with various computer systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supports and promotes the goals and objectives of the Department of Radiology and Mayo Clinic.
  • Provides customer service to internal and external stakeholders, including physicians, allied health staff, and medical center personnel.
  • Performs work activities related to Radiology Data Management and Archive area, including film management, electronic image media creation, film digitization, electronic image transfer, quality assurance, and corrections.
  • Takes positive action in problem-solving and works with various computer systems.
  • Requires positive communication and interpersonal skills, a commitment to customer service, demonstrated ability to work harmoniously in a team environment, flexibility, and the ability to achieve results in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications
  • A high school diploma or GED is required.
  • Knowledgeable in various computer systems and applications.
  • Good clerical aptitude and computer skills with accurate keyboarding.
  • Knowledge of anatomy.
  • Manages Radiology data with accuracy in an organized manner.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Good interpersonal skills and interactions.
  • Knowledge in Microsoft Office products required.
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English.
  • Knowledge of PHI and HIPAA organizational policies and guidelines.
Benefits and Compensation

This is a non-exempt position with a competitive hourly rate of $23.67. Benefits-eligible employees receive a comprehensive package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, retirement savings, and paid time off.

Work Schedule

This is a full-time position with a rotating schedule between onsite locations, including the downtown campus and north warehouse, and remote work. Hours vary between 6am-4pm, with occasional evening shifts from 2-10pm. Approximately one weekend a month is required.
