Job Summary

Montefiore Medical Center is seeking a skilled Endoscopy Technician to join our team in Bronx, New York.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in various types of endoscopy procedures, providing necessary instrumentation, supplies, and equipment.
  • Support nursing care activities under the direction of the registered nurse.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to infection control protocols.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest endoscopy techniques and technologies.
Requirements
  • High School Graduate or equivalent required.
  • GI technician certification (ASGE or SGNA) required.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in Patient Care required.
  • Experience on Endoscopy preferred.
  • Effective English communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Computer Knowledge.
