About the Role

Control Panels USA is seeking a highly skilled Fiber Technician to join our team in Austin, TX. As a Fiber Technician, you will be responsible for implementing and supporting projects related to fiber installation and network setup.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement telecom/network systems, including installation and termination of fiber/ethernet cabling
  • Set up network switches/routers and install and configure simple and networked radio systems
  • Perform field path studies and end-to-end testing of communication links using various test equipment
  • Work on elevated levels of antenna towers and structures, installing antenna towers and performing maintenance tasks
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment
Requirements
  • Ability to undergo training and obtain necessary certifications for fiber work
  • Physical ability to climb and work at heights up to 200 feet
  • Excellent customer service skills and ability to work independently
  • Flexibility to work varied schedules, including weekends and evenings
