About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Mammography Technologist to join our team at Covenant Children's Hospital. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for operating x-ray and film-processing equipment to provide high-quality mammography procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate x-ray and film-processing equipment to provide mammography procedures
  • Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
  • Collaborate with radiologists to interpret results and make independent judgments
  • Perform quality control tests and maintain equipment

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Radiological Technology or related field
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association certification
  • National Registered Technologist - Radiography - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists certification
  • National Registered Technologist - Mammography certification within 1 year of hire
  • Texas General Medical Radiologic Technologist License

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 40 hours of formal training in Mammography and completion of 25 supervised mammograms
  • Experience in mobile mammography setting
