We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Roadway Project Engineer to join our team at Stantec. As a key member of our transportation engineering group, you will be responsible for planning, designing, and directing complex engineering projects related to transportation systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform advanced engineering design tasks on assigned projects, including engineering drawings, reports, and presentations.
  • Develop project scope, budgets, and design approaches for projects, and support marketing and business development professionals in positioning for potential projects.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders in client project requirement meetings, coordination meetings with internal and/or external consultants, owner and contractor, sub-contractors, and vendors.
  • Lead project coordination meetings with internal team members and/or external consultants, owner and contractor, sub-contractors, and vendors.
  • Apply advanced knowledge of current principles and practices of transportation engineering and stay informed of new methods and developments.
Requirements
  • Minimum of eight (8) years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
  • Design experience in roadway, rail transit, and associated utility impact mitigation preferred.
