ExcelCare At the Pines is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our nursing staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and leading our team of nurses to deliver high-quality care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide nursing care to patients as assigned, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met.
- Administer and record medications and treatments as assigned, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records.
- Prepare for and assist physicians and other healthcare professionals with diagnostic procedures and treatments.
- Reinforce health care instructions to patients and their families, promoting health education and empowerment.
- Participate in planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care and other patient activities, ensuring seamless coordination and communication.
- Assist in the admission, transfer, and discharge of patients, ensuring a smooth and efficient process.
- Observe and report patients' vital signs, symptoms, and general condition to the appropriate individual(s), maintaining a high level of vigilance and attention to detail.
- Record observations of patient responses to nursing care rendered, maintaining accurate and comprehensive records.
- Maintain a safe and comfortable environment for patients, adhering to infection control and safety protocols.
- Assist with unit management and/or assume charge of the unit as assigned, demonstrating leadership and initiative.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- Current RN License
