We're seeking a results-driven Data Scientist to support NSG strategies through the creation of automated collection models, dynamic analytic models, workflow automations, and other automation processes and products as assigned.

The ideal candidate will refine, enhance, and improve the operational performance of automated solutions through performance data evaluation, regular customer interaction, and a standardized maintenance cycle.

They will apply data science and visual programming tradecraft to support and streamline analysis tasks as identified by stakeholders and the government.

The Data Scientist will also enhance technical solutions to problems related to IC intelligence integration, automated collections, tipping and cueing, information sharing, and visualization.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting extensive collections and analytic modeling, data processing, data mining, and visualization
  • Conducting gap analysis on existing technologies and processes
  • Providing communication to customers on project progress, emerging technologies, and other relevant information
  • Clearly communicating data-driven findings and automation to technical and non-technical audiences

The successful candidate will design, integrate, and maintain Bayesian Belief Network (BBN) processes that utilize automation tools or scripts to drive predictive, activity-based automated collection.

They will also work on workarounds that may need a permanent solution and train and integrate new tools, processes, and capabilities to be used in collection orchestration.

Required skills include proficiency in common geospatial software applications and tools, such as visual programming, Python, SQL, Git, GIMS, AWS Sagemaker, AWS Cloud, ESRI ArcGIS, statistics, Markov-Chain modeling, TensorFlow, Linear Algebra, R, SAS, and NLP.

A bachelor's degree and 1 year of relevant experience are required.
