We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our dynamic team in long-term care. As a RN, you will be responsible for providing exceptional care to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.
Key Responsibilities:- Plan, direct, coordinate, delegate, and evaluate the activities of nursing personnel within your assigned area.
- Conduct daily rounds to ensure the highest standards of care.
- Review and revise care plans to meet the evolving needs of our residents.
- Ensure continuity of care through effective written and verbal communication with supervisors and staff.
- Conduct daily conferences with unit staff to discuss patient care and policy updates.
- Extend courtesy and support to all unit visitors.
- Coordinate with personnel to ensure adequate supplies and equipment are available.
- Provide consultation for unit personnel, resolve immediate issues, and communicate actions to the Unit Supervisor.
- Maintain accurate records, files, and reports.
- Take on additional responsibilities as delegated by the Supervisor.
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
- NYS licensure as an RN.
- Minimum of 6 months experience in long-term care.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Experience working with the elderly population.
