Job Overview

The Meat Department Assistant Manager plays a crucial role in assisting the Meat Department Manager in all aspects of meat department operations. Key responsibilities include preparing products for sale, controlling freshness by coding, rotating, or culling all products, and removing out-of-code merchandise. Additionally, the successful candidate will provide exceptional customer service, manage employee relations, control expenses, maintain accurate inventory and record-keeping, and direct staff when in charge of the department.
