Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Travel Histology Technician to join our team at Ohio State University Hospital. As a Histology Technician, you will be responsible for performing routine paraffin embedding, microtomy, and sectioning for H&E staining, as well as immunohistochemistry and molecular procedures.

Responsibilities
  • Perform routine paraffin embedding, microtomy, and sectioning for H&E staining
  • Conduct immunohistochemistry and molecular procedures
  • Process information and office orders
  • Perform minimal special staining and processing duties
Requirements
  • Certification: ASCP-HT (American Society for Clinical Pathology - Histotechnician)
  • Experience: At least 1 year of hands-on experience in histology, with specific expertise in microtomy and paraffin embedding
Additional Information

This position requires strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work independently within scheduled hours. Pre-approved time off must be submitted before confirmation of the contract.
