Job Summary:

The Track Foreman EWRR will be responsible for supervising and managing the activities of track gangs, track inspectors, and hyrail operations. This includes ensuring compliance with safe work procedures, FRA guidelines, and Patriot Rail policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and manage track gangs, track inspectors, and hyrail operations
• Ensure compliance with safe work procedures, FRA guidelines, and Patriot Rail policies and procedures
• Inspect track in the absence of the Track Inspector
• Lead people with clear direction and goals while providing coaching and guidance to employees
• Manage budgets and workforce productivity within policy
• Clear communication of track condition, daily production, and information to senior management
• Participate in activities related to derailments and disruptions in service

Requirements:

• Verifiable High School diploma/GED
• 18 years of age or older
• Valid Driver's License
• At least 5 years combined experience as a Track Foreman supervising maintenance gangs
• Roadway Worker Protection (RWP) Qualified
• FRA CFR 213 Qualified
• SRTH Operating Rules tests
• Continuous Welded Rail (CWR) Trained and Qualified
• No driving violations involving alcohol or drugs within the past 3 years
• Ability to perform duties that require heavy lifting up to 50 pounds on a regular basis and 80 pounds on occasion

Work Environment:

The Track Foreman EWRR will work in a fast-paced environment with a nonstandard workweek, including being on-call 7 days a week, 24 hours per day. The position requires the ability to work outside in all weather conditions and to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis and up to 80+ pounds occasionally.

Up to 25%
